(CL Labr) These CUFFLINKS have been created from top quality square domed cabochons of beautiful blue flash Labradorite.... The cabochons have been polished & mounted in 925 solid silver semi-rigid "T" links.... Labradorite is a semi-precious igneous gemstone ,light grey in colour....as the mineral moves in the light it shows a brilliant blue colour that changes in intensity according to the angle with the source of light... Each square cabochon is 12 mm X 12 mm x 6 mm. Craft jewellery items are first "buried" in kapok & placed in an organza draw-string pouch. The pouch is placed inside a sumptuousThuya wood box. ( This turned box not only protects your item in transit but is a collectible piece of beautiful treen in its own right! The new, high quality Thuya boxes I am using (from October 2011) are STUNNING! Each box has distictive burrs &/or swirling chatoyant grain. The boxes, shaped like small melons, vary slightly in size as they are individually handmade) The Thuya box is covered in soft paper, then wrapped in tissue paper & finally a layer of bubble-wrap. The completed “package” is put into a decorative bag before being placed in a Mail Lite padded envelope. This careful packaging ensures that fragile items arrive safely even if your Postman stamps on the parcel. (You can also play "pass-the-parcel" when you open it!) Each weekday morning (weather permitting!) I cycle a nine mile round journey to the local village Tickton Post Office so that there is as little delay as possible in getting your item delivered. The cycling keeps me fit & helps keep the village PO alive! Most UK items are sent via 2nd Class Recorded Delivery; this ensures that both you & I can check on a parcels journey.
