DESCRIPTION With Christmas in mind, we have just bought a large collection of mostly antique and some modern jewellery. All fresh to the market from deceased estates. There are lots of rings - brooches, cameos, lockets, stick pins, fob seals and items of vertu. All perfect gifts priced from £15 to £1500 so there's something for everybody. Metals and stones have been thoroughly tested and described accurately. On most of the items our start price is representative of a touch over the scrap value of the metal and stones. THE RING HAS BIFURCATED SHOULDERS AND A REEDED SHANK AS SHOWN. THE CAMEO BEARS THE CARVERS INITIALS OF 'IPE' AND ALSO HAS ' HERCULI' IN SCRIPT AS SHOWN. Presented in a hard leather case. SIZE (approx) (25.4mm to the inch) N (UK), 6 3/4 (US). The cameo plaque measures 18mm x 12.5mm. WEIGHT (approx) (31.1g to the troy ounce) The weight is 7.5g. Gross. * CONDITION * Please look carefully at all of the photos below, we normally add between 5 and 12 shots at high magnification in studio conditions insuring perfect focus and high clarity. From these you will get a very good idea of the general condition, more so than I can describe concisely in words. If you are unsure of any aspect of the condition, please e-mail me before bidding. Please do not buy as a result of viewing the gallery photo only. The ring is in good condition with very light surface scratches - the cameo has small nibbles to the edge and a small chip bottom left which has been filled with resin. HALLMARKS & MAKER There are no marks but this tests as 14ct gold.
