Nice Big Goddess Flora Shell Cameo In Ornate 9ct Gold Brooch Mount ..

A  lovely large, shell cameo of  Flora she is left facing which is fairly hard to find,usually they are right facing...The mount is 9ct and nicely detailed.has a bar and a simple "C" clasp5.7CM X 4.9CMthe shell has a crack on the left of the face but its not that noticeable,doesnt detract from its beauty, and still very much a wearable piece...and quite a whopping size which makes it quite a statement piece..could be used as part of an altered art project....I have seen all sorts of cameos like this reset using "Fimo" used in a way to bring over the front if there is broken part,and with just the good part of the cameo peeping through and they looked awesome,with stones and baguette crystals all round them,this could also be used in a similar way...now that we are in the age of recycling what a cool project for a budding jewellery designer! using their altered art skills,and a great way to make cameos popular again to wear and not just to collect.after all each one is a work of artA delightful addition to anyones collectionMore pics available on requestI am moving out some of my cameo collection as its gotten rather large,so more treasures are to be found here over the coming days.Thanks for looking and if you have any further questions I shall be happy to help youInternational postage is sent at cost,I do not profit from postage,I will combine wins and send tracked and signed for service
