If you buy an item through eBay you are well advised to read up on the vendor, and are protected in the event of bad performance by the seller by their top notch buyer protection system, If you buy items through a nornal classified advert, it is a smart move to make payment via paypal, as you are less likely to be cheated when protected by their payment system.
